Central Europe is having a hot summer, and Hungary's agricultural situation looks grim. Official data shows water levels dropping in major rivers – the Tisza River has decreased by 60%, and the Danube by 40%. This severe drought, along with consistently high temperatures of 35-38°C, frequently reaching 40°C, and a critical shortage of rainfall, has destroyed crops. Dr. Alazelna, Head of the Advisory Department at the Hungarian Institute of Ecological Agriculture, explains the severity: "The soil and plants are absorbing and evaporating all available moisture simply to cool down, creating a severe problem."
In response to the urgent need for improved water access, we have prepared and shipped drilling equipment to Hungary. This shipment includes the RCF180C Water Well Drilling Rig and its complementary Mud Pump.
The RCF180C is engineered for demanding conditions. It adopts a 55kw diesel engine and a reliable mechanical transmission system designed for depths up to 180 meters. The accompanying Mud Pump is crucial for efficient borehole cleaning and stabilization during the drilling process.
It is well known that a reliable water supply is important for agriculture. We are committed to providing drilling rigs to help local operators and farmers get a sufficient water supply. Our team ensured thorough pre-shipment checks and comprehensive documentation. We will also provide operational guidance to the Hungarian partners to help them drill efficiently.
